Our story

From a simple question to a shop.

In 2009 Alzainah started writing about her garden on a small blog she called It All Grows. Every season taught her something: varieties that worked, others that didn't, and as many lessons from the misses as from the wins. Over time one thing became clear: growing in our climate isn't impossible, as many assume. It just needs the right knowledge, the right choices, and a little patience. In 2016 that passion became Plantnmore: a shop that makes the start of a gardening journey easy, where you find what you actually need, without complication or guesswork.

What confused beginners most was the seed packet: instructions in another language, sowing dates that had nothing to do with our seasons, and not a word about what to do with the harvest in our kitchens. So we designed our own packets. Our Arabic seed packets are a gift of love from Alzainah to every beginner: dates for our seasons, our way of planting, and even how to use what you grow, written as if she were there with you in the garden.

A good garden doesn't have to be big or perfect. It can start with one pot on a balcony, a few seedlings by a window, or a seed a child plants for the first time.

What we offer

Everything here is chosen from experience.

We choose our seeds, seedlings, soil and tools based on what we've grown ourselves and what suits our climate and the home grower, through the whole season, the good parts and the hard ones. Gardening should be fun and easy, not complicated. Grow what you like.

  People who love what they do and know gardening because they practise it. They're the ones who pack your order with care, check every seedling before it leaves, follow the delivery to your door, and answer your questions on WhatsApp and Instagram like a friend in the garden.

  Sadeer Farms

  The seedlings began with an offer from our friend Dana Al Mutawa of Sadeer Farms, when Alzainah ran out of space and stopped raising her own: "Pick any of your seeds and I'll give them back to you as seedlings." Then we saw how many people were in the same spot, with no room and no time to start ahead of the season. So the farm set aside an entire greenhouse for our seedlings, and together we now offer them to anyone who needs them. Every new order means one more person who fell for gardening and dared to begin.
