Ordering & delivery
How do I place an order? +
Browse the site, click any product to see details, choose a variant or quantity, then click Add to cart. Keep shopping or click the cart icon and select Checkout.
At checkout, enter your email and delivery address in English (so the courier reads it correctly), pick your payment method, confirm, and click Continue. We'll start preparing your order right away.
You'll get email updates as the order moves through processing, dispatch, and delivery. International orders include a FedEx tracking number.
How long does delivery take in Kuwait? +
Most orders arrive same day or within 1–2 business days, depending on when you order. We don't deliver on Fridays — that's our day off — so Thursday-evening orders arrive Saturday or Sunday.
What are the shipping costs in Kuwait? +
Free delivery on orders over 30 KWD anywhere in Kuwait. Under 30 KWD, a flat 2 KWD delivery fee applies. No hidden charges at checkout.
How do I track my order? +
All status updates come by email. For Kuwait orders, the courier company will call you to schedule a delivery time. For international orders, you'll receive a FedEx tracking number by email as soon as the package ships.
You can also check status anytime via the Where is My Order page.
Can I change my delivery address after ordering? +
Yes, as long as it hasn't shipped yet. WhatsApp us within a few hours of ordering and we'll update the address. After dispatch, the courier handles redirection.
Do you have a physical store I can visit? +
We're online only — no walk-in shop yet. Every product is shipped directly to your door, usually within 1–2 days inside Kuwait.
What if the product I want is out of stock? +
We try to keep popular items in stock, but some sell out fast. New stock and new varieties drop regularly — follow us on Instagram @plantnmore for restocks, new arrivals, and offers.
International shipping
Do you ship outside Kuwait? +
Yes — we ship worldwide via FedEx. The only items restricted to Kuwait are live plants, soil, fertilizers, and pesticides (most countries block these at customs).
How is international shipping priced? +
FedEx charges based on volumetric weight (وزن حجمي) — meaning the package's actual weight or its size-based weight, whichever is higher. The exact rate is calculated automatically at checkout when you enter your address, so there are no surprises.
Why can't I order plants, soil, fertilizers, or pesticides internationally? +
Most countries block these at customs because of agricultural and chemical import regulations. Live plants also struggle to survive long transit. International customers can order seeds, tools, kitchen items, and dry goods without restriction.
How long does international shipping take? +
FedEx delivery typically takes 5–10 business days depending on destination and customs clearance. Tracking is included with every international order.
Will I have to pay customs duties or taxes? +
Possibly. Your destination country may charge clearance fees (رسوم تخليص) or import tax (ضريبة) when the package arrives. These are set by your local customs and are the buyer's responsibility — we can't predict the amount. Check with your local customs office if you want an estimate before ordering.
Do you ship to my country? +
FedEx delivers to most countries worldwide. To check, add an item to cart and enter your country at the Estimate Shipping step — if your country appears in the dropdown, we ship there.
Seeds & growing
Are your seeds non-GMO? Are they heirloom? +
Yes — every seed we sell is non-GMO, and our varieties are heirloom (متوارثة): open-pollinated varieties passed gardener to gardener over generations. That means you can save seeds at the end of the season and replant next year — they'll grow true to type. Many are also USDA Organic — those are tagged "Organic" on the product page.
When is the best time to plant in Kuwait? +
Kuwait's main growing window is October through April, when temperatures stay between 15–28°C. Most vegetables, herbs, and leafy greens thrive then. Heat-loving crops like okra, eggplant, and tomato can extend into early summer with care. Each collection page has a "Growing tip" with variety-specific timing.
What if my seeds don't germinate well? +
We don't guarantee a specific germination rate, but we genuinely want every gardener to succeed. If your seeds aren't sprouting the way you expected, WhatsApp us with what you sowed and how — we'll troubleshoot together and make it right where we can.
How long do seeds stay viable? +
Most vegetable and herb seeds stay viable 3–5 years if stored cool and dry. Lettuce, onion, and parsley are shorter (1–2 years). Tomato, pepper, and bean seeds can last 5+ years. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for the longest life.
Do you offer planting guides? +
Yes — there's a Kuwait planting calendar in the announcement bar at the top of every page, plus growing tips on each seed collection. For deeper guidance, message us on WhatsApp and we'll point you in the right direction.
Plants & care
Do plants come potted? +
Yes — every live plant ships in a nursery pot with healthy soil. Most are ready to repot or plant out as soon as they arrive.
How do I care for plants when they arrive? +
Unbox right away, give them a drink of water if the soil feels dry, and place in indirect bright light for the first 24 hours. Don't repot or move into full sun for 2–3 days — plants need a moment to recover from transit.
Where should I place my new plant? How do I plant it correctly? +
First 3–5 days (acclimation): Keep your plant in bright indirect light, away from any AC vent or strong air current. Most plants suffer from sudden environment changes — cold AC blasts and dry blowing air dry leaves out fast.
Choosing a permanent spot:
• Indoor: near a window with bright filtered light is ideal — but not touching the glass (Kuwait sun through windows can scorch leaves and overheat the pot). North or east-facing windows work for most plants. Keep at least 1 m away from AC vents.
• Balcony or outdoor: in October–April, morning sun and afternoon shade is the sweet spot. From May onward, give them shade by 11am or move them indoors. Use saucers under pots so water doesn't damage tiles.
Repotting: Only after the 3–5 day acclimation. Choose a pot 2–3 cm wider than the current one with drainage holes — bigger isn't better, it just keeps roots wet and rots them. Use fresh potting mix, gently loosen the root ball before placing in the new pot, fill around with soil, water thoroughly once.
Watering: Check the soil with your finger 2 cm down. If it's dry, water until you see drainage from the bottom. If it's still moist, wait. Most new plant deaths in Kuwait come from overwatering, not underwatering.
Spacing (if planting multiple): Each variety has a different need — check the product page for spacing, or message us if it's not listed.
Can plants survive Kuwait summer? +
It depends on the variety. Most leafy and tender vegetables struggle past May. Heat-tolerant varieties (look for the "Heat tolerant" tag) keep producing into June. For the deepest summer months, focus on hardy ornamentals, succulents, or move edibles indoors with AC.
What if my plant arrives damaged? +
Photograph it within 24 hours of delivery and send the photo to us via WhatsApp or email. You can choose: we either send a replacement plant or refund — your call.
Returns & refunds
What's your return policy? +
We handle every return individually. Message us on WhatsApp with your order number and what's not working — we'll figure out the right path together, whether that's a refund, replacement, or store credit.
How do I request a refund? +
WhatsApp us with your order number and a brief reason. Once we agree on next steps, refunds typically go back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Can I cancel my order? +
Yes, if it hasn't shipped yet. Send us a quick message and we'll cancel and refund. Once your order is on its way, the courier process kicks in and we handle it as a return instead.
Account & payment
What payment methods do you accept? +
K-Net, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All payments are processed through Shopify's secure checkout — we never see or store your card details.
Do I need an account to order? +
No, guest checkout works fine. But creating an account lets you track orders, save your address, and re-order favourites in one click.
How do gift cards work? +
Buy one from our Gift Cards page. The recipient gets an email with a unique code, redeemable at checkout. Cards never expire and partial balances stay on file.
Is my payment secure? +
Yes — checkout uses bank-grade SSL encryption and the highest PCI DSS Level 1 security standard. Your card details aren't stored on our systems; they're processed directly by your bank or card network.
