Black Cumin, also known as Nigella sativa, is a traditional herb grown for its aromatic black seeds. The seeds are commonly used in cooking, baking, and spice blends, and the plant also produces delicate pale blue flowers. It grows well in home gardens and containers during the cooler season in the GCC.

Sow seeds from October to February in well-draining soil and a sunny location. Keep soil lightly moist during early growth. Plants grow upright and produce seed pods that can be harvested once they dry and turn brown.
